Thoughts on The Vampire Diaries, 4x16, “Bring It On”  

I’m just going to pretend that the new episode of The Vampire Diaries didn’t happen.  Let’s just leave it at that … 

Well, I am glad that Matt got a fancy new house courtesy of Tyler.  That was nice.

Thoughts on The Vampire Diaries, 4x02, “Memorial” 

• When did Damon and Stefan become Elena’s parents?  Elena in 4x02 reminded me of when I would ask one of my parents for something and if they said no, I’d ask the other one.
• Damon was absolute perfection.
• Seeing Alaric delighted me to no end!
• DALARIC!
• I love Damon/Elena to bits, but I’m not sure I’ll be feeling it if they have some freaky Sookie/Eric (whom I also l love) blood bond.  However, that hasn’t stopped me from re-watching the scene somewhere between 2 and 20 times in the last few hours …
• I can’t remind the last time I was so entertained by Damon+Stefan scenes (it was probably never), but I want more!
• Before they lit those lanterns, I was wondering what they were doing with plastic bags … 30 seconds later I felt like an idiot … 30 seconds after that I was wondering how dangerous they are … A couple of hours later I’m wondering why I’m so obsessed with these lanterns … 
• Claire Holt was listed as a guest star yet wasn’t in the episode.  What’s up with that?

2.  Thinking about the season finale of The Vampire Diaries (still).

3.  Reading interviews with Julie Plec (TVLine and EW).

I know I’m supposed to stay strong as a Delena shipper, but it’s pretty hard when it seems like the writers have no intention of getting them together anytime soon.  In the TVLine interview it seemed like Elena getting her memories back aren’t even going to have a big impact on her.

I’m currently reading any and all DE fics to try and make myself feel better.
